Leadership

Leadership is the process of influencing people to achieve certain objectives without using unduly coercive tactics. Leadership ensures that human behavior is coordinated and directed toward task accomplishment. You need not have a particular combination of personality traits to lead others. No one, including psychologists and management experts, has been able to develop a theory, which proves that leadership is merely the result of the right combination of personal characteristics. Effective leadership, in fact, is often the key to both individual and organizational success. This type leadership is important to the organization because effective leaders can make a major contribution to organizational performance. Similarly, ineffective leaders can impair organizational performance. Workshop participants will learn effective methods of capitalizing on their individual strengths and their positive personality traits to lead in a more efficient manner.
